Daisy Goodman, CNM, DNP, MPH

Daisy is a practicing nurse midwife with many years of frontline engagement in caring for women whose pregnancies are complicated by drug and alcohol use. In her current role at Dartmouth Hitchcock, she directs women’s health services in their multidisciplinary perinatal addiction treatment program, an innovative, integrated care model launched in 2013.

Daisy’s area of research and clinical interest is in the complex factors which impact women with opioid use disorders, and the development of optimal treatment approaches. Her work, therefore, is focused on understanding women’s experience of prenatal care and opioid use treatment, and barriers and facilitators to implementation of evidence based care for this vulnerable population of women and infants.
