SAC Mom Road to Recovery (September National Recovery Month)

09/22/2020

Hey my name is Jackie I became a member of the SAC about 2 months ago and I am so glad to be working with such a great group of people! I moved to New Hampshire back in January and it was the BEST decision I have ever made.

I am from Fayetteville, North Carolina and grew up in an abusive home which made me struggle with a lot of things in life. I turned to drugs to be able to deal with things. I started with the small stuff like weed but soon graduated to the harder things. There really isn’t much I haven’t done but I struggled the most with heroin and meth for years! Drugs made me lose EVERYTHING. I watched my whole life just crumble! I lost my kids, family and the love of my life. I have two beautiful girls that are still in NC that I lost custody of. I am working SO hard to get them back, and since I moved to NH I have got my fiancé back. He moved up here as well to be with me since I got my act together and he did too. Shortly after he got here I had our HANDSOME lil boy! I am living proof that u can come all the way from the bottom and feel like you’re on top of the world again! I am so much better off clean like I am. I’m 9 months clean and going to stay that way! I love being a part of the SAC! I really hope to take my experience and help someone else that feels like there is no other road to take!
